When making a purchase or providing services, consumers & service providers have the responsibility to be informed, make conscious choices, and act responsibly. They must know the risk of entering unfamiliar situations, be responsible for safety, be able to discern their own personal safety and the safety of others. This includes but is not limited to researching service providers, products, comparing prices, understanding warranties and return policies, and using products as intended. They should also be aware of their rights and report any issues to ensure fair trade practices and protect their interests. As a consumer you are responsible for the agreement you make with providers of service and the agreement to purchase. Service Providers have similar responsibilities, they have the responsibility to be informed, make conscious choices, and act responsibly. Service providers must know the risk of entering unfamiliar situations and be able to discern their own personal safety and the safety of others. Each party assumes complete liability for their own safety, loss, actions and decisions.

Verify the consumer or service provider in the app and in person at the time of appointment
Before allowing service providers or consumers access to your personal space, each party should double-check the other’s name, against the information in the app.
Share Service Appointment Details
Sharing your service details with a friend or family member allows them to know of your situation and ensures someone knows to check in on you before, during, or after the serviceable event. .
Stay Safe
If you allow others to access your personal space, choose environments where you feel most safe. If you feel unsafe, do not proceed with the service appointment, have additional adults with you, be sure you are 18 or older, do not leave strangers alone with your valuables, belongings, dependents, or children under 18. Avoid being alone with others you may not fully trust, keep your phone close and direct communication with friends or family.

Bükt offers safety features like the Emergency Button to call your personal contact or authorities for assistance.
Trust Your Instincts
If a consumer or service provider's behavior or the environment itself feels unsafe, you should not hesitate to cancel the service appointment or to contact authorities.
Allow Access
You should be the one to allow access or ask for permission to enter another’s space.
Stay in Control
When possible, have others at the appointment or in your home during the service appointment. Do not leave valuables, children under the age of 18 unattended. You are the responsible party in your situation as the consumer or service provider.
Avoid Sharing Personal Information
Be mindful of the information you share with your service provider or consumer and avoid sharing sensitive details.
Be Kind and Respectful
Treat the service provider and consumer with courtesy and avoid disrespectful language or behavior.

Provide Feedback
Share your feedback of the service through the Bükt app to help Bükt improve its services and focus for safety.
Report Concerns
If you have any safety concerns during or after the service appointment, report them to authorities, your friends & family, & Bükt, immediately.
